There is nothing better to inaugurate this blog, with notes of wine .
These tasting notes were received days spent in a reunion of friends oenophiles.
What better to drink good wine and good company, of course, without neglecting the good cuisine ... but that is an issue we will discuss later.
I leave you with tasting notes.

The color palette, showed an important evolution. Nose
indecipherable. Imbalance of alcohol and acidity. You step
time. Inti
Valley "Essence of the Andes" Mendoza IP
(55% Malbec - 45% * Servadou Fer) 13% alc. ($ 20?) Deep red
violations. Limpid intense.
the nose, scents of quince, cherry something. Then appears a spicy note, and cinnamon. Final
fairly long and whole. Does not decline at any time.
Knowing who carry that bottle (I) said some " This is Tannat, undoubtedly "
A interesting finding.

The vineyards are on slopes facing north and south along 15 kilometers and 300 meters above sea level, on the left bank of the river Adour, Amente immediate south of the Armagnac area, and has protection of forests of the Landes west. The INAO (Institute National Appellations of Origin) Limited, in 1948, the top of the local variety was more important than the 40-60% Tannat assemblies, and recommended addition to Cabernet (Sauvignon and Franc) or Fer Servadou .
Renacer Punto Final Malbec 2005
( 97% Malbec - 3% Cabernet Franc ) 14% alc.
Wine Enthusiast: 91 pts (Top 100 Best Buy) Vermillion Red Color
low intensity (to paraphrase my friend Adrian)
Flashes of evolution. Nose
poor. Only appeared some purple and some fruit from the back. I repeat: very poor nose.
In mouth is flat. Unfortunately, it's free. It does not prove much of anything.
1865 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
( San Pedro, Valle del Maipo - CHI ) Alc. 14.5%
burgundy red color, intense and deep. Notes
evolution in the nose. Mild smoked, then cooked red fruit appears as a plum. Minty notes that make it more complex.

Very good wine.
Reinaldo de Lucca Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
( El Colorado, Canelones - URU) 12.5% \u200b\u200bAlc. ($ 10) Red
which reminded me of the color of plum. Average depth
Aromas something dirty. Stands a pepper, and a background of red fruits.
The palate is tannic, but without being unbalanced. Very good acidity.
A right wine at the price you have. Not bad. But no big deal.
Peter Lehmann Clancy's 2005
Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot ( Barossa Valley - Australia ) 14.5% Alc. ($ 100 approx.)

Details of the presentation, with a beautiful label and a bottle of heavy unconventional way.

violations of medium intensity. Nose
alcoholic. Unbalanced. Takes to open.
In the mouth, is very present tannins and round, almost chewy.
alcohol is too noticeable. This wine is clearly unbalanced, but it is worth noting that there is a long time in the mouth after drinking. Bouza
Parcela Tannat 2007

deep violet color, tinged with black. Depth soaring.
the nose, the first thing that sticks is Bananita Dolce.

In the mouth the attack is oily. The tannins are very present, without being disturbed. Very heavy in the middle of the mouth. Balanced
alcohol, barely noticeable. Good acidity, but not wonderful. Final
lengthy, cumbersome.
This is one of the best tannats I've tried. Amalgamate the wood and the fruit. Alcohol is very high for the region and not noticed.
The price? for me is a minor detail. For me, wine of the night, along with Clancy's.
The picture for the Single Plot Bouza Tannat 2006 vintage B6 The Partridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

excel in mouth alcohol, and acidity is zero. Final
sad.
Bodega del Fin del Mundo Gran Reserva 2005
(Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc)
Vista evolved. Something off color. Nose
poor. Annealed berries. Steam some rather bitter.
mouth is lacking in acidity, tannins are, but unnoticed. The flavors are overshadowed by the bitter end. Although the winery
believe has 8 years of aging, would not come.
Housebroken - Zaino Reserve Malbec 2004
( La Consulta, Valle de Uco ) 14% alc.
The word that sums up this wine is involution.
I remember lively, fresh. Easy to drink. Color
evolved. Nose, flat, ugly thing that fails to please.
In the mouth, feel free to the misfortune of drinking.
2005 Late Harvest Bar Bruno
(Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat) 15.5% Alc. ($ 24)
garnet red color, with some evolution.
Nose very sweet. Membrillitos, vanilla, coffee with lots of sugar.

Cecchin Sparkling sweet
(Russell, MaipĂș - Muscat of Alexandria - 100% Organic)
Golden yellow, medium bubble, something rude.
Floral and fruity nose, the white family. Jasmine, peach and apricot.
The palate is fresh, lively. Very nice.
At first, I thought it was the Moscato Giallo de Lagarde. But I liked this wine a lot.
Jhonnie Walker Gold Label (18)
A good whiskey. Quite correct incorporation at the time of the dinner.
I was surprised the smell of paint thinner. Very nice in the mouth ... served although the measure was too generous.
Tannat Grappa "Alma de Roble"
La Spezia - 40.3% Alc. (URU)
Geranium and leaves of jasmine on the nose, with hints of overripe figs raisins.
nuts like chestnuts.
unctuous in the mouth thanks to -4 ° C. Refreshing. King
Anis Arak Tanios Rachid Touma Arak , 50% Alc. (Lebanon)
Hard to describe an anis.
On the nose, ANIS! But it reminds me of licorice root, very sweet. With a little spice too.
Thanks to the host, Stephen, and colleagues who made this a great dinner ...
Greetings!
Emilianna *
