Jcpenney Salon Products Silk

ID: Sauvignon, Cabernet

occasion to entertain the father of the host, we take as a starting point the slogan: JUST Cabernets.
Already some time ago, we tried a merlot's with two of the participants of the next tasting, and it went pretty well.
The honoree, Chile the declared lover's cabernet was in the first stage, a spectator, and then begin to loosen up, and talk about wine with great ease.

Our host, received us at the table with: shrimp, mussels, brie cheese, Reggianito, white with green onion, salami, dry sausage made in canes, focaccia and rolls with sesame surprise (stuffed with sun dried tomatoes made by our Rosa friend!) and various other delicacies.

To tools
Navarro Correas Chardonnay 2001 Limited Edition Bottle
No. 94,366 to 13.7% - Godoy Cruz, Mza. Yellow
intense, clear and bright, intense gold flash.
In the first nose appeared a stale note. Soapy water. The foam was not going ...
In the second cup, sweet lemon aromas appreciate subtle, somewhat buttery.
Franco and evolved. Very short on the palate, fresh.
also because at his age, one might expect a lot less. Linda
experience.

already starting with the Cabernets

Don Pascual Roble Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 ($ 30)
Juanico
Guinda, with hints of cherries. Brilliant but shallow. Shows evolved. The nose poke
easily cooked fruits such as cherries and raspberries. Behind
appear where spicy aromas highlighted pepper. Soon, an anise note makes it more interesting.
The palate is frank, good acidity and round tannins. Very nice, long and easy to drink.
vanilla appears a little behind, which shows good amalgam between fruit and wood. Cabernet Sauvignon

An Old World style, but it will never be explained from the 2006 vintage.

Personal Family Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 (11U $ s) Warehouse
Pisano - 13.5% - Progreso, Canelones
violations Deep red, bright, flashing ruby.
In Nose: Wood. Behind the cinnamon, nuts, and berries that appear very delicate. Powerful
. Tannic, but correct. Do not get disturbed. In the mouth looks a lot more fruit on the nose as shown.
correct acidity, but just leave temperature, it becomes something alcoholic.
A very correct wine. With aging potential, and with good present.

Lurton Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 ($ 45) Jacques & Francois Lurton
- 14% - Tunuyan, Mza. Red
viola, you got deep cherry with hints of evolution.
earthy aromas of earth and fungi in the nose first, the time give way to black fruits. Cassis and blackberry. Attack
sweetish, aromatic complex as it appears some chocolate in the last breath of the wine. Of final average very balanced. Very well assembled
wood to wine.

Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 ($ 35 approx)
House-Bodega Filgueira - Green Blade, Canelones
A view is a deep mahogany red, flashing tile, a marked evolution.
At first, smells dirty, who left after 10 minutes. At the opening can be seen
dark aromas of dry, roasted coffee (sweet) and jams more like cherries and plums.
has a light mouth with round tannins for their age, they seem sweet, and are extremely Dosil.
has good acidity, it is drinkable and has a very interesting earthy final.
Wood practically not noticeable (12 months first-use French oak) so I consider it very balanced.
The finish is long and keep all the flavors and aromas, but excel aromas of earth.

Castillo de Molina Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2007 (U $ s8)
Viña San Pedro - Cachapoal Valley, Chile
Color Purple, deep, not evolution.
The nose shows the typical Chilean: Menthol.
Behind, there is a bit of fruit, without definition. Nose somewhat bounded.
In the mouth it is spicy, with flavors of pepper as a descriptor that stands out.
is a good acidity, and medium pace in the mouth.

Ruca Malen Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 ($ 45)
Ruca Malen - 14.8% Alcohol - 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot
CS: 20, Lulunta - MB: 10 years, La Consulta - PV: 8 years, Agrelo
Bright garnet purple with flashes of perceived something of evolution.
The nose is reminiscent of pepper and fruit stand in the berries. Behind some chocolate that adds complexity. Intense
and good acidity. Good way of mouth, something sweet tannins. Franco on the fruit. We add something spicy and hot.
Long, and very nice. Cabernet complex.

Bramare Lujan de Cuyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 ($ 130)
Cobos - Lujan de Cuyo, Mza. Garnet
intense, brilliant and limpid.
Concentrated aromas reminiscent of cedar, black fruit and cassis and blackberry, leaves fermented snuff, and a subtle aroma of truffles.
In the mouth it has good acidity and tannins with good structure, but delicate. Complex and free shows featuring all the aromas in the nose.
is intense, complex and elegant. A different wine.
Undoubtedly, the wine of the night.

1865 Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 (U $ s20)
Viña San Pedro - Valle del Maipo, Chile Deep red
like cherry, mahogany flashing.
The nose menthol aromas typical. Subtle spicy, and ports.
The mouth is an attack medium, tannins, frank and balanced.
The finish is medium, but does not decay any aroma.
Nobody would have thought that the 2001 harvest was, above all, by the vivacity of the tannins.

Best of the night ...

note in the next Cup and Corks ...

Greetings and Cheers Emiliano
