The British painter and illustrator Melvyn Grant has returned to work with Iron Maiden to design the cover of one of their albums. " The Final Frontier, the latest album from the English, who will go on sale Aug. 16, has with an illustration in which Eddie (Maiden's mascot fireproof), attacked a group of astronauts to Earth as an impotent witness background.
The advance single "El Dorado", also features the art of Grant in what appears to be a tribute to the covers of American comics of the seventies.
collaborations between the artist and Maiden started from 1992, which took over the famous cover of the album "Fear Of The Dark", transforming into a terrifying Eddie tree with life. To the writer of these lines, the best and most successful contribution to date.
Grant has worked many times with Maiden, but it is the artist Derek Riggs, which has designed more covers for the band and the fans recognize as the best illustrator of Eddie.
